Apprenticeships have been embraced as a viable alternative to university, and the modern apprenticeship is accessible, flexible, and a boon for both young people and employers. An apprenticeship is a real job where you learn, gain experience and get paid. You're an employee with a contract of employment and holiday leave. By the end of an apprenticeship, you'll have the right skills and knowledge needed for your chosen career. It can take between one and six years to complete an apprenticeship depending on which one you choose, what level it is and your previous experience. It's funded from contributions made by the government and your employer.
There are different levels of programs available in various career streams that the Apprentice can choose from related to the field; they want to develop their career in the future. Similarly, the employers can choose the skills sets they are looking for in an employee as they required for the vacancy they have in their organisation. The Apprentice can join the employee with no prior experience or training and can receive both through Training Provider and an Employer.
